Ron Paul has The Money Bomb - which helps him rake in millions of dollars in small cash contributions from his supporters all over the internet. We aren’t running a presidential campaign that requires millions, we are making a documentary that requires quite a bit less, so we would like to introduce - The Money Shot!

Ok, so it could be considered a bit of crude humor, but it certainly gets you attention and it’s to the point. For our first filming date in NY on September 26th we are still short on the funds necessary to set up production and film down there. So we are attempting a 24hr Revolution 2012 Money Shot for September 24th, 2011.

All contributions made today during the Money Shot will go directly to our filming efforts on Monday, and anyone who donates at least $10 will get their name in the credits for that episode of this web series.

We have been given permission and offered a press pass for the exclusive Ron Paul event at Webster Hall in NYC. We want this event to be the kick off of our entire series and still need a little more help to make this possible.

September 24th Money Shot Donation

Initially we began with the notion of creating a single 90-120 min documentary about the Revolution. However, after some consideration of just about every factor you can imagine, we have decided to shift over to an ongoing web series documentary. This means that instead of waiting until Feb for the documentary footage to be available, it will be available shortly after each event we film!

The biggest reason for this change once again relates back to funding. A few potential sponsors and donors that we had hoped would get involved have not been able to provide us with the kind of overall funding we wanted. To cut down on budget expenses, we felt if we micromanaged the budget to each single event and filming location, we could stretch our dollars more.

Being “newcomers” to the tight woven fabric of The Revolution, it has been more difficult than we had hoped in securing contributions to make this film. We understand the economy is in shambles and donations of any sort are difficult for Americans to hand out these days. We still hope there are enough individuals or groups out there that would like to see this project blossom, and help create a portal inside the The Revolution; for the world to see all the enthusiasm, hard work, dedication, and swelling support of this movement.

We believe that providing 15-25 min web series style documentaries covering each event will be a more enjoyable viewing experience. With the constant changes happening in the news and the primaries, regular updated videos will track how these things are affecting The Revolution movement. Instead of knowing how it all plays out and then watching the documentary in Feb, seeing these changes and affects in real time should provide a more compelling experience to those following along.

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to check out our page and information. This is the first day we have gone live and begun raising funds to make this documentary happen. We have the people in place, the equipment on hand, and the strategy to bring it all together.
